Olga- your website is esthetically pleasing and I like your Wordle on the home page. I really liked how you incorporated your Russian background and culture into your projects. I particularly liked learning about it because my ancestors are from Russia. It is very exciting that you will be an intern next semester I hope your experience is as wonderful as mine has been. I enjoyed reading your educational philosophy.
ReplyDeleteHi Olga, I love your website style, It looks different to me, it has another presentation. Your lovely smiling picture invite me to continue reading it. I love what you say in your profile because we are immigrants and we move to this country for different reason, and your reasons as mine have to be with growing in our professions in another country. I love studying and I can see that you love studying as well. I love the beginning phrase at your educational philosophy "I believe education should focus not only on academic goals, but also on development of a whole child" what inspire me to explore more about it and I agree to your speech. it is so motivating. Your digital story about Russia Winter palace is very romantic and make me remember about Russia literature about Ana Karenina and Saint peters-burg, Moscow and reading about Russia I made before. I can see as you being neighbor in the classroom all what you have learned in this technology class. Love your photos and I also love Matrioska. I have a Russian friend that made a gift to my wife with four matrioskas, one into the others. You are a very talented teacher and your Blog is one of my favorites. Good luck on everything, congratulations, Jose.
ReplyDeleteI really like the quote by Dr. King you included on your homepage - the goal of education is not just to teach information but to enable students to use that information to solve new problems and gain the deeper meaning behind it. I also thought your digital photo turned out great. It looks real! I couldn't even tell it was photoshopped at first. Finally, I liked that you included a page about QR Codes, considering that they seem to be the up-and-coming technology that we should get a head start on learning about. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHello Olga,
ReplyDelete~~Nice work on your page, titled: what else I have learned. It’s evident you’ve really kept up with the coursework in a timely manner. As an educator, I can’t say enough of how helpful this is! This page gave me some inspiring ideas, too. If I’d suggest a change, I’d probably want to see more of how you use technology (blogging) in the classroom. I liked your website a lot!

Olga: Your website really illustrates what you have learned throughout the semester and makes it easy for others to understand how to use the different resources. I really like how you mention that you can share your diverse background with your students. I think that is a very important to help your students understand the importance of diversity. I enjoyed learning more about Russia in your PowerPoint and Digital Story. Great Job!
